LAG ECO Düz Yalpugel

(Borceag, Congaz, Cotovscoe, Chioselia Mare, Frumusica, Cietu, Dimitrova – approx. 17 000 inhabitants)

Supported by the Programme “Support for Agriculture and Rural Development in ATU Gagauzia and Taraclia” (SARD), funded by the European Union, implemented by the UNDP.

In the LAG, one can find the village of Congaz, known as the largest rural settlement in Europe. Many young people are involved in the LAG’s activities. The representatives of the business sector are constantly attracting new persons that plan on launching new businesses, especially in apiculture. The LAG’s members have identified the demand to support the local cultures and ethnic traditions.
