Supported by the Programme “Support for Agriculture and Rural Development in ATU Gagauziaand Taraclia” (SARD), funded by the European Union, implemented by the UNDP.

Local businesses focus on agriculture and small-scale rose farming. The
settlements have a well-developed network of international partners from EU countries and Turkey. One of the initiatives is to increase the production of local traditional Gagauzian sausage, also called baur. The identified mission is to expand the villages’ economy, by means of the available traditional resources, as well by attracting tourists through local cuisine and wine, by raising and exporting organic goods and livestock products, by promoting the healthy lifestyle and cultural diversity.
