Iurie Uşurelu

Iurie Uşurelu is currently Secretary General of State at the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. He was Vice Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry. Before being appointed vice-minister, he has held, for more than ten years, the position of director, executive director/ manager of Moldovan companies providing services in the agricultural sector. He has also gained experience in the field, being a specialist in value chain development, at the International Development Fund for Agriculture UCIP-IFAD and marketing specialist at PFAP (Private Farmers Assistance Program), he is a mechanical engineer by profession.
